Pukemoremore K
Pukemoremore K is a 32.5 hectare property situated on Beer Road, Tauwhare, some 15km south of Cambridge or some 22km south east of Hamilton and access is gained from Beer Road.
The block is predominately flat to steep gullies.
Pukemoremore K is utilised for grazing purposes.
In 2018 5.85 hectares was fenced off and planted to native species. There is a follow up management program over the next 2 years to ensure this work is successfully established. This is a $400k project has a Waikato River Authority as the main funder. This is designed to enhance water quality it will also ease management of the block as it removes the majority of the area infested by gorse.
