The contour comprises river flat and steep hillside and the land has predominantly northern and southern aspects. The property is dissected by Waitorara Valley road which gives access to the block. The effective grazing area is approximately 9.00 hectares and is currently utilised for sheep and cattle grazing. The balance of the land can be attributed to bush, scrub and the wahi tapu area.
Piraunui 1A2C is currently leased and farmed with five other blocks (Piraunui 1A2A2, 1A2B, 1B2B, Rangitatau 1D5A2 & 1D5A3). Together, the properties combined area is approximately 170.6452 hectares however, the effective farming area is only a little more than 25% (45ha) of the total area. There is a 2 hectare pine plantation on Piraunui 1A2C. The trees are approximately 20 years old and near maturity and harvest.
