We are seeking a Kaihautū Kaupapa Hinonga Matua | Senior Project Manager based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.

Our role is to provide professional trustee services for Māori. We do this by carrying out the terms of trusts and ensuring the whenua is protected and enhanced for future generations.

He angitūtanga | About the role:

The Kaihautū Kaupapa Hinonga Matua | Senior Project Manager is responsible for the governance and delivery of Te Tumu Paeroa application, systems and business projects. Reporting to the Kaihautū Ratonga Hinonga | Project Management Office (PMO) Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Using your excellent Project Management skills and experience across the project lifecycle, including business case development, creation of project briefs and plans, risk assessment and management, project financial tracking and reporting and project close out
  • Working with the PMO Manager to improve process and overall project delivery practices

He kōrero mou | What we are looking for:

  • An experienced Senior Project Manager who has several years’ experience and examples of managing application, systems and business projects, demonstrating your abilities in business case creation, project planning, risk assessment and management; and management of project financials
  • Excellent relationship skills to work with a tight knit team and the wider stakeholder group within Te Tumu Paeroa
  • Top-notch communication skills
  • An understanding of different project management methodology including Waterfall and Agile
  • Demonstrable mentoring and coaching experience of project teams would be an advantage
