Waituhi Kuratau 1B1
Waituhi Kuratau 1B1 is a 196.6266 hectare property situated on both sides of State Highway 41, approximately 22 kilometres north-west of Turangi. The land ranges from easy to steep hill country in contour and is split by the road into two severances. The block can be accessed from adjoining land.
The block comprises of three severances (two to the north and one to the south). The northern most severance is currently not leased and covered in steep bush and pine. The severances directly on the northern and southern side of State Highway 41 are leased separately.
The northern severance that is leased is currently utilised for beef cattle grazing in conjunction with the lessee's neighbouring farm. The effective farming area is approximately 10 hectares. The balance of the land can be attributed to the steep bush covered hillside.
The southern severance is currently utilised for sheep and beef farming.
The effective farming area is approximately 80 hectares. The balance of the land can be attributed to bush and the retired areas along the two main waterways.
There is a pump shed on the northern severance.
