The land is undulating to medium/steep hill in contour. Soils comprise of Wairere silt and clay laom in the western area of the property and Oparure silt and clay loam to the east and rear of the property. The property has its own legal access via the road frontage to State Highway 3, however this access is not practical. Physical access is gained via the lessees adjoining properties.
The property is currently leased to three different tenants.
Te Koura Limited lease 20.0 hectares of the block, of which, approximately 16.95 hectares, is currently utilised for dry stock grazing. The balance of the land can be attributed to bush and part of the river and stream.
Waipa Pastoral Ltd lease 118.3 hectares of the block, of which, approximately 104.59 hectares is currently utilised for dairy support grazing. The balance of the land can be attributed to bush that is separately fenced.
JD & RD Wallace Ltd lease 14.6 hectares of the block, of which, approximately 7.76 hectares is currently utilised for dry stock grazing. The balance of the land can be attributed to bush.
