Reu Reu 1 Sec 33 B2
Reu Reu 1 Sec 33 B2 is a 59.8858 hectare block situated on the western side of Reu Reu Road, some 10kms north of Halcombe. Legal and formed access to the block can be gained directly from Reu Reu Road.
Reu Reu 1 Sec 33 B2 is a tidy block over two terraces that is set between the road and the Rangitikei River. The top terrace is exposed to winds from most directions, while the lower terrace is quite sheltered. The contour of the land is flat through to moderately steep. The soils on the block comprise Ohakea silt loam (top flats) and Manawatu sandy and silt loam (bottom flats).
The effective area, some 53 hectares, is currently utilised for intensive breeding/fattening, dairy support and cropping. The ineffective area, some 6.8858 hectares, can be attributed to the river and accretion, steep bluff/bush, water course, trees and tracks.
