Wharekawa 8B

Wharekawa 8B is a 93.68 hectare property located on East Coast Road on the western side of the Firth of Thames, 1 km north of Kaiaua. The block can be accessed from East Coast Road, or from a well-formed access track to the rear of the property.
The block is an irregular shape and predominantly undulating to easy hill contour being approximately 56 hectares with some 14 hectares in front flats and 23 hectares of easy to medium hill contour areas. 13 hectares of the block are ineffective bush or swamp areas.
The property is currently utilised to finish beef cattle and is best suited to finish heifers.
There is a well-formed access track that leads to the rear of the property up to the Vodafone cellphone tower, in the centre of rear part of block.
The property is provided with a set of cattle yards and a new 5 rail holding pen. Water is sourced on the property and reticulated to troughs over all the land except the rear quarter of the farm which relies on natural sources only.
