Omahu 4A2B is a 56.226 hectare property situated on Kawera Road, approximately 15 kilometres from Hastings. The land is a mix of flats, steeper hill, and easy rolling in contour and has a northerly aspect. Soils on the property comprise of loams over a clay base and limestone. The block can be accessed off Kawera Road.
The effective area, approximately 54.00 hectares, is currently utilised for grazing. The balance of the land can be attributed to wet lake area.
The Hastings District Council has an archaeological pit/terrace site noted 450 from the eastern boundary and 60 metres from the northern boundary of the eastern severance.
