Takapau Section 3 is a 25.9802 hectare property situated on Tourere Road, approximately 20 kilometres from Waipukurau. The land ranges from flat to steeper sidling gullies to undulating easy hill in contour and is split at the front by a tributary of the Mangapurakau stream. The block can be accessed from Tourere Road.
The effective area, approximately 24.6 hectares, is currently utilised for sheep and beef finishing. The balance of the land can be attributed to pine trees, light bush and the give and take boundaries.
There is a 0.25 hectare stand of pine trees on the property.
