Omuturangi 4A
Omuturangi 4A is a 9.7150 hectare property situated on the eastern side of Omuturangi Road, Otakeho, some 25 kilometres west of Hawera.
Omuturangi 4A is a bareland property flat in contour. The block is a long, narrow rectangular shape and is dissected by three low-sided gullies and associated watercourses.
The effective area, some 9 hectares, is currently utilised as a dairy runoff in conjunction with the lessee's dairy farm situated approximately one kilometre south of the subject land. The balance of the land can be attributed to the water courses on the property.
A metalled race runs from the Omuturangi Road entrance down the northern side of the property to the back paddock. The race runs alongside and parallel with the northern boundary. The race is well formed and is fenced utilising the northern boundary as a fence on one side, while the other side is fenced with a permanent two wire electric fence.
There are four good culvert crossings over the various watercourses, three along the race and one at the southern end of the back watercourse.
There is a small yard on the property consisting of a pen and a drenching race that is utilised for drenching calves and young dairy stock.
