Whaiti Kuranui 2A2B2B and 2D3A2 Aggregated

Whaiti Kuranui 2A2B2B and 2D3A2 Aggregated is 74.1434 hectare property situated on Waimakariri Road, some 7 kilometres northwest of Tirau. The property can be directly accessed through Waimakariri Road. Whaiti Kuranui 2A2B2B (58.2ha) and 2D3A2 (15.9ha) aggregated comprises two Maori land blocks of mixed contour, predominantly easy rolling with some steeper paddocks and some scrub/bush cover. Some of the steeper areas remain in native bush and scrub and there is an approximate 5 hectare stand of semi-mature managed pine trees that are excluded from this lease. Whaiti Kuranui 2D3A2 is bisected by Waimakariri Road and also by the Waimakariri Stream. Soils on the property comprise Tirau sandy loam. The effective area, approximately 51.2 hectares, is currently utilised as a milking platform (approx. 42ha) and for young stock grazing (approx. 10ha). The balance of the land can be attributed to bush, scrub and pines on the property. There is a small 40.5 square metre 3-bay implement shed of timber and corrugated steel construction with an earth floor on the block.
