Puketapu 3C5A3 is a 34.2668 hectare property situated on Ngapuke Road in the Taringamotu Valley which is approximately 14 kilometres north west of Taumarunui. The contour of the property comprises flat to easy hill and sidling and has a predominantly eastern aspect.
Soils on the property comprise 25mm dark-brown sandy loam and 75mm of yellow heavy sandy loam on pale yellow clay loam.
The effective area, approximately 33.50 hectares, is currently utilised for sheep and cattle grazing in conjunction with the lessee' neighbouring farm. The balance of the land can be attributed to the wet swampy areas along the various watercourses.
There are a limited amount of bulldozed tracks that provide motorbike access over the steeper hill area of the property. There are also a number of culvert crossings that provide vehicle access over the various small watercourses dissecting the property.
There are a set of older sheep yards that are non-operational and an old dilapidated cottage on the property.
There is an urupa in the front south-eastern paddock of the property.
