Te Kowhai 4 is a 40.5621 hectare property situated at the end of Browns Beach Road, between Muriwai and Manutuke, and is approximately 20 kilometres south-west of Gisborne. The land is predominantly undulating in contour.
The effective area is currently utilised for grazing purposes. The balance of the land can be attributed to sand dunes, the Wherowhero lagoon and the ocean.
