Kenana 2B8B is utilised as both dairy grazing and a kiwifruit orchard.
The area leased for dairy grazing is 1.265 hectares which is divided into two parts separated by the kiwifruit plantings and being 0.858 hectares at the eastern end of the block and 0.407 hectare at the western end of the block.
The grazing area is used as part of the milking platform located on the adjoining property. The land is easy to undulating contour throughout and the grazing area is currently in two paddocks.
The soil is generally free draining and is well suited for grazing and intensive pastoral farming.
The orchard forms part of a larger 2.66 canopy hectare orchard which is operated under the supervision of DMS Horticulture Limited. The whole orchard is made up of three parts being the freehold portion Lot 1 DPS 83371, Kenana 2B8B and a small area which lies within Lot 3 DPS 85455. The leased orchard portion of Kenana 2B8B is 1.2 hectares of which 1.06 is orchard canopy.
There is a small loading race on the eastern part of the block in good condition.
