Seeking your feedback to develop My Whenua
We're updating My Whenua, our online portal for all your whenua information and would like to know your thoughts, whether you've used it or not.
Launched in 2014, My Whenua holds information about every block that the Māori Trustee administers. It’s where owners, whānau and trustees go to see information about their whenua, lease information, upcoming hui or minutes from previous hui, as well as photos and videos.
Our vision is to create a platform that places whenua at the heart of everything we do, deepening owners’ connection to the whenua through increased access to information and empowering tāngata through shared decision making.
The potential is exciting for shared decision-making and joint initiatives, more efficient and reliable trustee services, reduced reliance on manual processes, and better integration with modern systems. There will be some initial changes in June, but these are just the start and we want to know what users would like to see in the future.
We're keen to know what a future My Whenua app could look like and what would be useful. For example, more detailed maps of the whenua, ability to provide feedback on projects, governance insights, real-time information and monitoring of the whenua.
