He angitūtanga: About the Role:

The Risk & Assurance Advisor is primarily responsible for: 

  • Combining data, information and research to routinely monitor, analyse and evaluate health & safety, risk and assurance activities across Te Tumu Paeroa. 
  • Providing insightful, timely and concise reporting of health & safety, risk and assurance information to support strategic and operational planning and ongoing continuous improvement.

Responsibilities this role includes:           

  • Support the Risk and Assurance Manager to implement frameworks, policies and practices to ensure compliance with legislative and trustee obligations.
  • Be a key contributor to the thinking and long‐term development of health and safety strategy and plans.
  • Provide health & safety and risk advice and guidance regarding legislation, policies, procedures and tools to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain formal systems and processes to source and collect relevant health & safety, risk and assurance data and information from across Te Tumu Paeroa and external sources.

He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years Risk and Assurance experience. 
  • Proven experience covering risk management, health and safety, and assurance. 
  • A good understanding and practical use of NZ risk management, assurance and health and safety policy. 
  • A strong team player, who can collaborate and assist to help the team partner and support the organisation 
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dynamics NAV, SharePoint and/or M365 is a plus.

  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.
